MS/HS program begins on May 26th concluding in mid-July.  We will typically hold practices Monday-Thursday with several optional competition opportunities.  Website calendar and meet schedule pages will be updated with more information.

Participants in the Cheetah Summer program must be 11-18 years of age (entering 6th-12th grade) to take part in this program.

The purpose of COTC is to introduce youth athletes the fundamentals of running, jumping and throwing events, in a fun track and field atmosphere with a highly skilled coaching staff.  More experienced middle/high school aged athletes will continue to train and hone on skills in not only thier primary events, but have opportunities to learn and try new events.

We will have focused practices in all track & field events which will include sprinting, middle and long distance running, relays, long & high jump, throws, and hurdles.  Safety and sports etiquette will be emphasized. The goal of the program is to provide character development through youth participation in the sport of track and field. As a result of participating each athlete can realize his/her full social, intellectual, and athletic potential and develop a strong sense of loyalty, commitment, and appreciation in the following areas of focus as part of a team: Personal Responsibility, Unity, Team Cohesiveness, and Community Awareness.

Athletes participating in COTC Track and Field may have the opportunity to compete in Youth State; and if qualified, Regional  & National USATF Junior Olympic competitions as well as several other club competitions throughout the summer.  Check to Meet Schedule page for more information.
